This style of Personal Training involves using one's own body as resistance to restore health without compromising body structure. Focus is on performing exercises correctly to improve posture and balance. The goal is to come up with realistic programs that eventually the client can perform safely on their own. I continue to study many aspects of health because, as a personal trainer, one has to have a strong understanding of the functions and vital processes of the human body. This is so an effective personal nutrition and physical fitness training program can be designed. An interest in Eastern Medicine lends itself to the incorporation of Qi Gong, yoga and abdominal breathing in most programs.
